C’est donc lui qui sera le candidat Démocrate à l’élection présidentielle des Etats Unis d’Amérique.

Barak OBAMA est né dans une Amérique où la ségrégation était encore forte et institutionnalisée. Aujourd’hui, il porte les espoirs de millions d’américains qui veulent un “changement”. Faut-il y croire?

On a coutume de dire qu’aux Etats Unis on peut élire n’importe qui venant de n’importe quel milieu. Obama serait-il un autre exemple de cette pensée?

Obama est contre la guerre en Irak contrairement à John MacCain. A priori, cet aspect des enjeux politiques a été peu abordé par les candidats, est-ce que c’est le point important et décisif quand il s’agira de choisir entre les Républicains et les Démocrates?

Les Américains sont ils prêts à élire un président noir? Voici la question qui revient souvent. C’est débile comme question, s’ils ne l’étaient pas, le camp démocrate n’aurait pas choisi ce candidat là. De même par rapport à Hilary Clinton, ils étaient prêt à élire une femme sauf qu’elle n’a pas remporté la place de candidat à l’élection présidentielle. Du coup, on se demande si c’est possible en France. Est-on prêt à élire une femme, un noir, un arabe, un asiatique? Qui peut y répondre? Personne, on dira que les français sont trop conservateurs, trop racistes, trop emplis de clichés. Qui aurait pensé qu’une femme serait candidate en France? Le droit de vote pour les femmes est récent en France. Elles sont plus présentes dans la vie politique, dans les Administrations, dans les grandes entreprises et à des postes à responsabilité.

Je crois que la France a surtout des complexes et a peur de son propre regard sur sa société. Le fameux “qu’en dira-t-on?”
